ProposalDescription:

Proposed Additions and Alterations to existing Building at 1-7 Helen Joseph Road

Expanded_Motivation:

The existing building is a corner property and has very distinct architectural features. Prontaprint has owned this building for the past 15 years and has maintained and painted the exterior of the building with contrasting colours to emphasize the arches, columns and decorative mouldings. This can be seen from the attached photographs. The internal alterations will have no effect on the existing structure as confirmed by the engineer. The additional storage area taking up most of the courtyard will be interleading to the shop and will not affect the existing significance of the building as the addition will not be visible from any road frontage.
