Case Type:

ProposalDescription:

Additions and alterations to ERF 2537, 107 St Andrews Drive, Durban North Drawing Nos. 15 120-LA1-001 & 15 120-LA1-002

Expanded_Motivation:

Buildings on surrounding sites are predominantly double storey dwellings, with a few single story dwellings sparsely spread about the precinct. Over time each resident along St. Andrews Drive has upgraded and revised their home, leaving little to no evidence for the initial housing type. Each adjoining home is vastly different, not only in building form, but also in the choice of architectural style and materials used/exposed. Further along the road there are younger homes, of a much more modern style, with various roof typologies and modern fenestration. With several years of alterations, St Andrews Road displays a mixed bag of architectural styles and there are homes being renovated currently.
