Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

Central Plaza Investments 28 (Pty) Ltd plans on installing a new outfall sewer approximately 12km in length comprising of 92 manholes (Manhole A25 to A114), to be known as the Baviaanspoort Outfall Sewer across the following properties: Portions 123, 192, 197, 317, 421, 422, 479 and the Remainder of Portions 196, 198, 199, 229, 258 and 316 of the Farm Zwavelpoort 373 JR, Portions 40, 70, 72, 74, 92, 93, 115, 117, 228, 323, 324, 336, 352, 363, 366, 367, 372, 373, 416, 476, 484 and the Remainder of the Portions 14, 29, 34, 48, 223, 300, 301 and 386 of the Farm Mooiplaats 367 JR, Remainder of Portions 2 and 19 of the Farm Zwartkoppies 364 JR; and the Remaining extent of the Farm Barrosa 742 JR. An Alternative alignment denoted in yellow, is proposed for Manholes Alt25 to Alt30, Alt39 to Alt41, Alt45 to Alt46, Alt 49 to Alt51, Alt58 to Alt60, Alt65 to Alt70, Alt88 to Alt97 and Alt104 to Alt105, across the following properties: Portions 192, 317, 421, 422, 479 and Remainder of Portion 198 the Farm Zwavelpoort 373 JR, Portions 56, 57, 70, 72, 74, 92, 117, 324, 394, 484 and Remainder of Portions 14, 29, 30, 48 and 55 of the Farm Mooiplaats 367 JR and the Remainder of Portions 2 and 19 of the Farm Zwartkoppies 364 JR. Location: The new outfall sewer, to be known as the Baviaanspoort Outfall Sewer, will be installed along the Swawelpoortspruit from Achilles Road east-north-eastwards and then along the Pienaars River north-north-westwards, transecting the Zwavelpoort Agricultural Holdings, the Mooiplaas Agricultural Holdings, crossing the M6 (Graham Road), Road R631 and the N4.
