SS WARATAH VANISHED WITHOUT TRACE OFF THE SOUTH AFRICAN COAST, JULY, 1909. THE PURPOSE OF THE SURVEY IS TO LOCATE THE WRECK OF WARATAH ON THE OCEAN FLOOR; ATTEMPT TO ANSWER QUESTIONS (BASED ON OBSERVATIONS) WHY THE SHIP SANK AND GIVE DESCENDANTS OF THOSE LOST A PLACE TO PAY THEIR RESPECTS.
