Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

This project is an Eskom Greenfield Electrification Project. The development Ipelegeng Extensions 3, 4 and 5, falls under Wolmaranstad CNC and the Mamusa Local Municipality. It is part of the 2022/2023 Electrification Plan. The development consists of 533 stands [Extension 3 (180); Extension 4 (89) and Extension 5 (264)] and with houses being of Tin and few brick types. No other services have been installed within the electrification extensions and with electricity to be supplied by Eskom. An SG plan (supplied by the Munic) does exist but the extensions are still to be formalised on site.

Expanded_Motivation: 

The aim of this project is the electrification of 533 stands in Ipelegeng Extensions 3, 4 and 5. Electrical reticulation, i.e. conductor network, will be provided which can deliver 0.85kVA per stand. The supply to the development extensions shall be from existing 11kV Mareesin and Ipelegeng feeders supplied from Schweizer Reneke Munic Substation, by means of tee-offs with three phase Fox conductor as follows: Extension 3 - from a new pole to be planted between poles SRM115 & SRM116. Extension 4 – from pole SRM132-4 (The existing phase-phase line from pole SRM132 to SRM132-4 shall be upgraded to three phase using Fox conductor) Extension 5 Portion 1 – from a new pole to be planted between poles SI152-124-5 & SI152-124-6 Extension 5 Portion 2 – from pole SI52-91 The infrastructure shall consist of 3-phase overhead MV comprising Fox ACSR conductor supported on 11m wooden poles and LV comprising 35mm² ABC with bare neutral supported on 7m wooden poles. Delta with 2m steel crossarm (D-DT-1870) shall be used for MV intermediates and Delta with 2.5m wood crossarms (D-DT-1743; D-DT-1744; D-DT-1745; DDT- 1746; D-DT-1804) shall be used for MV strain structures. Pole mounted transformers of SANS780 type, 100kVA & 50kVA, shall be used and shall be individually fused and the fuses installed a span away from transformers. MV and LV infrastructure shall run street-front.
