ProposalDescription:

My name is Foeke de Koe, I’m a reporter working for Dutch Television (KRO, Channel 2). We are planning to come down to South Africa for a documentary on Mr. Mandela’s years in Victor Verster prison and the period leading up to his release. Our correspondent in Cape Town ( Nawaal Deane) told me to contact you with an official request for filming inside the Mandela House at the Drakenstein Correction Services or previously known as the Victor Verster prison, especially in and around the warden’s villa where Mr. Mandela spent his last years in captivity. We will not be focussing or filming any other parts of the Drakenstein Correction Services and our story is not covering the facility or the service in itself but rather focussed on Mandela's life. We plan a 15 minute reportage for Brandpunt, Dutch Television. Brandpunt is Hollands leading current affairs program, we have been producing in depth reportages since 1963 and broadcast in Holland, and worldwide trough the Netherlands World Service. http://brandpunt.kro.nl/ If possible we would like to have confirmation to shoot in the venue as soon as possible as I will be flying to Cape Town especially for the interview. Nawaal Deane will contact you or await your email to let me know if this request has been granted.
