The specimen (BP/1/7324) was sent to Genoble in France for synchrotron scanning by Dr Vincent Fernandez. The specimen was returned to the ESI immediately after the scanning. Unfortuately the scans did not achieved good resolution. Dr Fernandez has since been experimenting with different algorithms to see if he can remove the inclusions, but so far has not achieved a good result.
