Sibanye Gold (Pty) Ltd proposes to develop a number of 132 KV transmission lines inside the three 200m wide assessed corridors, approximately 8 km southwest of Westonaria in the West Rand District, Gauteng.

Expanded_Motivation: 

Sibanye Gold appointed Aurecon South Africa (Pty) Ltd as the independent environmental consultant to undertake the requisite environmental authorisation process for the proposed project and associated infrastructure. Aurecon appointed PGS Heritage (Pty) Ltd to conduct the Heritage Impact Impact Assessment for these areas. The scope of work focus on Portions 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 of the Farm Uitval 280 IQ, with the plant facility and three corridors that had to be assessed.
