Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred onĀ Monday the 30th of October 2023.

ADSL line at DalJosafat - Problematic

User phoned IT Manager this morning - 21/2/2012 to inform him that his internet/email is not working.

IT Officer phoned Claude who explained that 2 days ago the landlines in the area were down - Telkom was in the area working on the problem and since that was resolved, he no longer has ADSL connectivity.

Claude indicated that all the lights on the adsl router are green and that he would now call Telkom and request that they test the line, as it was working before they worked on the landlines in the area.

Claude will call back to indicate what Telkom has said.
