Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Investigate available options for off-site back-up tape storage

Thank you for taking time to visit our offices and introduce your company and products/services to SAHRA.
 
Firstly, as promised, please find attached the supply chain documents.  If you have any questions about the forms itself, please
do not hesitate to contact Ryan Jonas, at the same number, or email rjonas@sahra.org.za
 
I'd also like to enquire about the number of canisters required.  Would one not be sufficient for our needs?  I see you have quoted for four.
We will be using 3 backup tapes (size : 11 x 11 cm each).

After discussion with Supply Chain, it was recommended that we investigate available companies for collection and delivery of backup tapes.
