About the Survey:

Nic Wiltshire, Peter Kloos, Peter's brother and father.
We set out on Saturday with Alex Mackay and Wesley Flear to assess the excavation potential of one of the Matjiesrivier sites. Alex and Wes returned to their fieldwork after the visit and we pushed on above the swimming hole on the southern bank of the Matjiesrivier. We entered from Leeuwvlak Kloof.

We did not find anymore sites in the kloof leading up to the pottery site but found 1 site on top of the plateau. This was also not the actual Dassieklippe site which turned out to be further north on top of the plateau (GPS coords supplied by Steven & Louise later).
Mapping only done from the point where we left off from the December 2012 hike.
