Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The following report and attached photographs are submitted for your information:

Only the exterior of the building was inspected. All in the property is in good condition. However, there are certain reasons for concern:

Photo 1: Shows damage to the guttering and facias, on the front facade.
Photo 2: 
Shows damaged caused by a leaking geyser to the rear of the facade.
Photo 3: Shows the northern wall to the outbuilding.
Photo 4: Shows the front facade
Photo 5: shows the southern gable of the building.
Photo 6: 
Shows the view from the front facade. It would appear the NMC property extends to the bush line in the rear of the photo, possibly further. As one can see there are two windmills in the photograph, one is very dilapidated, According to Mr Buise both were like that and he repaired one. The river running alongside the property is more or less dry.
