Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Visual Description: Cape Dutch asymmetrical winged house with hipped roof and verandah and gabled to front. Hipped roof with curvilinear gable on wing. Ealls are rusticated. Tiled ventilator set in gable within plaster mould, pedimented to top and terrazzzo tiled stoep . Verandah has straight roof on precast dentilled to bottom and dipped wall. left end built-in. Glazed door with 3pane fanlight. Aluminium canopy to left side. 2 x 2 sashes with louvred shutters. Wrought iron garden fence. Outbuilding (parapeted flat-roof) set back to rear of house on left.
