Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

History: Property first transferred from the DR Church to Gideon Daniel Joubert on 9 February 1836. In 147 it
Visual Description: Single storey with double pitched roof, bargeboard end gables and timber external staircase to right.
Three bay symmetrical facade.
Pebbledash plaster.
Plastered stoep with steel railings. Ogee verandah on plastered piers (originally decoarative timber verandah).
6x6 double sliding sash windows with louvered shutters on projecting hinges.
Original 3-panel double door under 2-pane fanlight.
Excellent condition. Largely original.

Original Karoo cottage to rear of house.
