SiteComments:

The presence of archaeological material in the form of stone artefacts of very low density across most of the site was noted. The material appears to be Middle Stone Age (more than 40 000 years old) much of which was made on quartz and occasional quartzite pieces. No organic residues (bone, ostrich eggshell etc) were associated with the stone. One scatter that appeared more concentrated was noted on the edge of the western boundary (PO1 - S29.13097° E19.38373°), but this and the more general scatter is considered to be of very low significance.
