SiteComments:

The foundation re,ains of two historical homestead structures are located here. The two structures are located directly adjacent to one another. All that remains of homestead structures sre low stone foundations, with brick walls. The larger structure of the two is rectangular in shape and measures approximately 11m by 5m. On the western end of the structure the remnants of wooden poles are visible which were ued in the construction of the structure. In turn, the smaller structure is square shaped, measures approximately 6m by 5m and has evidence of a vetranda. This smaller structure was possibly utilised as a separate boy or girls quarters or cooking unit with the larger structure representing the main homestead. Cultural material in the form of a glass bottle is associated with the two structures. This glass bottle contains stippling along its base perimeter. Such stippling is typically associated with automatic bottling machine bottles, which date to the period after c.1940.
