SiteComments:

The 1953 version of the 1:50 000 topographic map shows some structures located close the road on the western edge of the project area. On later maps, this is expanded to indicate a number of features. However, on the latest available map, these features have been totally removed. This locality was subjected to an intensive foot survey. Outcrops of dolomite and calcrete on the site was investigated for the occurrence of stone walling; no middens or other cultural material could be identified. It is possible that such elements are obscured by the current dense grass cover encountered on the site.
