Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

SiteComments: 

A labourer house, kraal and a goat shed were found in the farm Table Hill 187. Structures and a kraal were identified on the 3326AB Pigott’s Bridge Topographic map dating to 1977 near the location of EWF2-04. As such the structure appears to be younger than 60 years and not of heritage significance. As far has been determined, the site does not have a special relationship between the community and the surrounding environment.
