SiteComments:

A donga in granite just above the river-bank cuts a terrace-gravel at 40' above river, detritus covered by the silt-terrace at 25', which is sterile. In the terrace-gravel are many rolled pebbles. It must have been exposed at end-Acheulian times from the unrolled material in it.
1 much rolled small hand-axe. Unrolled 1 finely worked piriform hand-axe (on loan to Natal Parks Board for Kranskloof display 6/8/1982 - T. Maggs) 1 rough hand-axe, 2 massive picks, 1 probabl;y unstruck dis-core. Recorded also a number of wide-angled flakes. The unrolled pieces appear to be Late Acheulian and probably also Sangoan.
