Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Visual Description: THE MOORINGS No. 5
Dwelling
inspected: September 1982
Part single, part double storey dwelling.
Single storey: bluestone wall, pediment, raking brick coping, hardwood casement and fanlight with quoined moulded plaster surrounds, plaster string course and quoins. Two segmental arched doorways with rusticated plaster surrounds set slightly back in adjacent wall.
Double storey: plaster, 2-bay south face, timber and glass enclosed stoep, medium pane sash and flush panel door to ground floor, medium pane horned sashes to first floor. Hipped steel roof sheeting.
