History: This farm has since 1743 been in the possession of the Van der Merwe family and is well-known in the Afrikaans literature through the works of I. W. van der Merwe (Boerneef). The historic buildings date mostly from the beginning of the 19th century and form a unique and almost unspoilt example of an old-fashioned farmyard.
