Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History: This historic house is representative of the early Karoo architectural style. The house and the adjoining houses in the Street form an interesting historic and architectural complex.
Visual Description: Double storey with flat roof and projecting cornice.
Symmetrical three bay facade.
Pebbledash wall finish. Raked jopints. Quoined edges and door and window surrounds.
Low plastered (original stone) stoep. Verandah on wooden posts (evidence of decorative wooden fretwork brackets).
Upper windows 4-pane fixed. Lower similar detailing but larger pane windows.
Double door, two flush panels per door, 3-pane fanlight over.
Elevation to Bell Street has large 4-pane fixed window under later canopy.
Annex
Single storey with loft and double pitched roof with bargeboards.
Tow bay facade.
