Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History: The first transfer of this property took place in 1858, when J Draper (Jnr) sole it to J
Visual Description: Single storey with flat roof and heavy cornice.
Asymmetrical four bay facade.
Smooth edge pilasters and opening surrounds. Pebbledash plaster.
Low stone stoep with decorative timber fretwork balustrade. Ogee verandah on paired timber post and decorative fretwork infil.
6x6 sliding sash windows behind louvered shutters.
Original 8-panel double door with geometric fanlight over.
Dilapidated condition. Retains almost entirely its original appearance.
Very significant house for streetscape and design.
Garage annex
Lower than house, but also flat roofed with heavy cornice.
6-panel door with original spoked fanlight. Modern garage door under original lintol.
Integral and essential component of house.
