Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Visual Description: Singel storey with low double pitched roof, projecting cornice and pedimented stepped parapet.
Symmetrical three bay facade.
Edge pilasters and smooth opening surrounds. Ruled jointing.
Stoep with facebrick wall entered laterally. Ogee verandah on facebrick piers on facade and to left (replacing original wooden decorative verandah).
6x6 double sliding sash windows with louvered shutters on projecting hinges. Smaller 6x6 windows on side facades. Much smaller 6x6 windows to rear facade.
4-panel door with 2-pane fanlight.
Good condition. Original appearance affected by facebrick work.

Flat roofed outbuilding at rear with string course cornice.

Whitewashed stone boundary wall at rear and to both sides.
