Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: Double storey with shallow pitched roof and parpapet end gables under shoulders. Symmetrical five bay facade with two entrance doors.
Low stoep. Verandah on concrete columns. Upper and lower supports do not line-up. On middle portion of verandah wall remains at street level.
Modern shop fronts at ground floor. Windows and French doors of various sizes and types at first floor.
Glazed doors. Left side has original fanlight.
Good condition. Elements of original lost in detail.
