Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Visual Description: 4 bay Karoo-type corner house with stepped parapetand moulded stoep. Abuts (or attached to) 91. Karoo-type roof with moulded stepped parapet and cornice. Stoep with dipped and moulded side and street walls. 4 panel (top ones arched) Edwardian type door with 2 pane fanlight. 6 x 6 sashes with louvred shutters. The facade of this.Georgian house which has recently been restored has a four panelled door with a rectangular two-paned fanlight. There are three Georgian windows which have full length louvres painted green. An accentuated moulding runs the full length of the facade and divides the lower section from the stepped parapet. The stoep is enclosed, by a low wall which has been added on during, this century.
Colours: Dark green shutters, green and white door.
