Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

History: This double-storeyed building was erected in 1815 by the building contractor Herman Schutte. The veranda was added in 1820. The music for the National Anthem, "Die Stem van Suid-Afrika", was composed here in 1919 by the Rev. M. L. de Villiers. ??????
