Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Visual Description: Extended Karoo-type house with 3+2 bays. Stepped parapet with fine edge-moulding and cornice. Narrow verandah divided with wooden wall; ogee roof on wooden supports with ornamental drip fretwork, wooden railing and gates; one square end-window. French window with louvered shutters and 2x2-panel double door with plain fanlight. Windows have plain plaster surrounds. Side walls of house have buttresses. An interesting house of local architectural value.
