Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

History: The original house on the historic Welgelegen property was drastically altered from 1899 to 1902 according to a design by Sir Herbert Baker. The rebuilt house in the pseudo Cape Dutch style was thereafter made available by Cecil John Rhodes to the Curry family for lifelong use.
Visual Description: Approached through werf, avenue of oaks from north, central gable, central front door with fanlight over (from Civil Service Club) flanked by 2 small windows, tiled roof FINISH THIS ex CDC 2001.
