Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

History: Until fairly recently the house has been the home of a prominent authoress and social anthropologist, Mrs E.L. Roberts.
Visual Description: Double-storeyed face brick house of the Victorian period with verandahs to two floors and two sides;

Catalogue: Kearney, 1984, No: 10.08, Significance Category: It is both of Architectural and historical significance. It represents on of the last surviving buildings in a pocket of Victorian development which straddled the southern route to the Umbilo river.
