Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Archive Import: Historical significance with links to both the Anglo-Boer War and the Bhambhata Rebellion.
History: This historic complex was erected in 1900 as a second-clss prison. During 1901 it served as a transit camp for Boer prisoners of warto Ceylon and in 1906, during the Bhambhata Rebellion, it was converted into a refuge for the inhabitants of Eshowe.
