Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

History: The Residency in Eshowe was built in 1894 and was first occupied by Resident Commisioner, Sir Charles Saunders; in 1947 was also used by the British Royal Family during their tour of South Africa.
Visual Description: Single-storey typical Natal verandah house with original verandah intact; decorative barge boarding.
