Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation

Archive Import: Thisbuilding is one of the few conservation worthy buildings in the town and isalso a well-known landmark in Griqualand East. (Comment: This building should probably not be a national monument.)
Alteration: Steeped gable.
History: Erected by John Hutt for Mr Barker and Mr Heyns and used as a garage. 1925 the building was bought b
