Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: This imposing house is a double-storeyed building under corrugated iron roof with a rectangular turret room and pedimented side and front gables. The front facade is characterised by a fine balcony with original wrought-iron work of an elaborate late Victorian pattern. The front door is particularly fine with half-round glass panels in its face and glass panels on each side thereof. The ground floor sliding sashes are also of the best quality, one having moulded wooden columns. The house is further enhanced by plaster mouldings and rustication. Also noteworthy are the elaborate wrought iron fencing and gates surrounding the property.
