Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

History: Built for Dr Daniel Birtwell, District Surgeon for Greytown; served as magistrate's residency 1889-1
The historic building of the Greytown Museum was used as a dwelling-house from 1889 by J. E. Fannin, a prominent local figure of the time, and is a good example of a Natal Victorian veranda house.
Visual Description: Double gable and cross gabled roof with bellcast veranda profile on 3 sides. Timber posts and bracke
