Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

This site is located in the general area of the Bedworth House as indicated by the 1930 Map. The structure has been demolished but in the profile of earthworks in the vicinity of the structure, a feature that appears to be its rubbish dump was observed. The rubbish dump contains numerous bottles and porcelain fragments. The archival maps consulted show that the structure is not older than a hundred years and therefore the rubbish dump.
