Site Comments:

The site comprises the remains of a rectangular stone-built house. The foundation is roughly 10 x 5 metres and the house probably had two rooms. Dressed stone was used in the construction and stone lintels with wooden door and window frames. The roof has been removed with the resultant internal walling collapse. Most of the fittings have also been removed from the house frame. No substantial midden was recorded near the site. The remains of a more recent square
brick-walled structure that was probably a secondary dwelling is situated approximately 30 metres away. This structure was completely demolished.
