Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Unmarked graves are by default regarded as older than 60 years.
Unmarked graves are by default regarded as older than 60 years.
The site consists of a graveyard which contains approximately 65 graves. Most of the graves are demarcated by packed stones, but cement bases and headstones were also used. All the graves have an east-west orientation with the headstone on the western side. Most of the graves that have headstones with inscriptions date to early to mid 1900s. The remaining graves are mostly unmarked.
