Site Comments:

Several pieces of flaked stone and hammer stones were seen in an outcrop of eroding Enon conglomerates. This and other outcrops and exposures of Enon conglomerates are possibly the closest source of raw materials – mostly quartzite and quartz - for stone tool manufacture. It is possible, therefore, that this occurrence is a low-density quarry site.
