Site Comments:

The site consists of two adjacent lime kilns built into the landscape supported by several stone buttresses. Both kilns are approximately 2 metres in diameter and 6 metres deep and lined with clay bricks. On the one side of the structure is a deep trench providing access to the bottom of the both kilns. Several heaps of lime were recorded in the vicinity of the site, but no cultural material or other structures were noticed. Although both kilns are in a stable condition vegetation, especially larger trees are threatening to damage the structures.
