Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

Falon 20 Properties (Pty) Ltd. plans to develop Portion 329 & Portion 7 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ, Mogale City Local Municipality, Gauteng Province. The development, which will be known as Greengate Ext 100 and 101, involves hotel, Residential 3 & 4 and Private Open Space uses. Necessary roads and services (water, sewer, and stormwater) will also be put in place.

Expanded_Motivation: 

Falon 20 Properties (Pty) Ltd. plans to develop Portion 329 and Portion 7 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ, Mogale City Local Municipality, Gauteng Province. The development, which will be known as Greengate Extension 100 and 101, involves the hotel, Residential 3 and 4 and Private Open Space uses. Necessary roads and services (water, sewer, and stormwater) will also be put in place. It should be noted that the proposed development forms part of broader township development which extends over the following properties: • Portion 260 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ (Greengate Extension 98 – approved) • Portion 247 and Portion 248 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ (Greengate Extension102 and 103 – in progress) • Portion 253 and a portion of Portion 255 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ (Greengate Extension 104 and 106 – in progress). • Portion of Portion 255 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ (Greengate Extension 105 – in progress)) Services and roads have therefore been designed for the overall development as a whole. This report however will focus on those required for Portion 329 and Portion 7 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ. The envisioned development of Greengate 100 (occurring on Portion 329 and part of Portion 7 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ) will consist of twelve (12) erven consisting of five (5) Residential 4, six (6) Residential 3 erven and one (1) access erf giving access to the Residential 3 erven. Greengate Extension 101 (occurring only on part of Portion 7 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ) will comprise three (3) erven, two (2) with a Special Land Use which will cater for the proposed hotel as well as one (1) Private Open Space erf.
