ProposalDescription:

All existing buildings to be demolished for a new double storey residential unit on erf 6344 of Durban, 27 Crart Avenue, Glenwood, Durban, Ethekwini, Kwazulu Natal. Drawing no: sketch

Expanded_Motivation:

The existing building was destroyed by fire approximately 2 years ago and has been vandalized to the extent that only the existing exterior and interior walls remain. This has left no evidence of having any architectural features. The property is now overgrown and taken over by vagrants. This is causing a nuisance and a security risk to surrounding properties. Furthermore, the existing buildings that remain are all totally structurally unstable. Our client who has recently purchased the property would like to provide a double storey residential building for student accommodation as this property is within the vicinity of the local Durban university of Technology and also on the bus and taxi route and close to 3 major shopping centres. The new proposal will be designed to suit the requirements for students and have the appearance of a new double storey house. Plan of existing building attached, floor plans of the new proposal and attached photos of the existing property and its adjoining neighbours.
