Case Type:

ProposalDescription:

We request permission to conduct minor renovations to the extent described herein. The wooden window frames in the building are damaged or in varying stages of decomposition. We request permission to replace all window frames with aluminium window frames. [It might be necessary at a later stage to also replace wooden door frames and external doors with aluminium.]

Expanded_Motivation:

Our experience in securing service providers to restore the damaged or decaying woodwork in other parts of the building has proved that it is difficult to get such services providers or they are scarce and expensive. Further, the more affordable service providers performing such restoration were often amateurs or "chancers", whose work was later found to be sub-standard when, not long after completion, the poor quality of the workmanship began to show.
