Case Type:

ProposalDescription:

Addition of new garage, kitchen and scullery - all designed and sited so as not to detract from the original form of the building, with internal alterations to enhance the liveability of the building.

Expanded_Motivation:

This building is older than 60 years, and although ungraded, care has been taken to retain its existing character and perceivable form. The new garage is well set back to keep the original form of the building 'legible', and the kitchen extension is concealed to the rear of the property, and takes advantage of the unused, concealed area of the site. The boundary walls needed for wind protection and privacy will incorporate the existing walls, which will be plastered as 'plinths' to the new brickwork above.
