ProposalDescription:

We wish to donate two Holotypes of cephalopods described from the southern ocean (not from South African waters) to the Natural History Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Expanded_Motivation:

Currently we are holding two cephalopod holotypes. These were described by Dr Marek Lipinski, our cephalopod curator, from the southern ocean region. They were collected on international cruises and are not from South African waters. Dr Lipinski has received considerable assistance from the Copenhagen museum during the course of his studies and wishes to 'repay' this with this donation. The specimens are not catalogued into any collection currently. The Copenhagen museum is a world recognised repository for cephalopods.
