Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

According to the Integrated Development Plan of John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality, there is a need for electricity in Batlharos residential area and was indented as one of the high priority needs of the community. The project is deemed as an integral part of the development strategy for this area which is aimed at improving the general standard of living.

Expanded_Motivation: 

Please see detailed scope of work for the project below.  T-Off from different points as indicated from the planning report and electrify the Batlharos sections.  Build LV network to electrify 689 stands at Batlharos using the latest 2021/22 latest image.  608 NEW CONNECTIONS AND 81 INFILLS  Design using 1.5kVA per stand at TRFR point, use smart metering technology to supply all stands.  Close a normally open point from structure number at ELB 338 & close at RIGA 263.  Open at RIGA 296, Close at RIGA 210-64, Close at RIGA 335 and open at VC 434  Install 3 reclosers and the location will be determined during preliminary design verification and the optimal point will be determined by Plant department.  The currently recloser at RIGA210-18 is looking at 1095 customers, it is advised that the recloser be moved to RIGA120-19-4 which will have 625 customers and new one at RIGA 210-21 which will have 470 customers.  The existing recloser at RIGA 325-11 be moved to RIGA325-15-3 and connect 400 new customers.  The second new recloser to be installed at RIGA325-19 and connect 250 new customers.  The third new recloser to be installed at RIGA136-1 and connect 300 new customers.  DESD, EMP and SAHRA permit required.  The project is planned to be executed in 2023/24 financial year.  This project will address the current Batlharos electrification needs. Build +/- 850m of 3 phase 22KV Fox line. Build +/- 12.4km of 70mm² 3 phase 4 core ABC line and +/- 100m 70mm² 2 phase 3 core ABC line Build 4 x new 100KVA trfr zones. Build 2 x new 50KVA trfr zones. Upgrade 4 x 50-100KVA trfr zones. Upgrade 1 x 32-64KVA trfr zones. Upgrade 1 x 25-50KVA trfr zones. Connect type 2 connections to 12x existing 100KVA and 1x 50KVA transformer zones.
