Expanded_Motivation:

The Applicant, eThekwini Municipality, proposes to upgrade Street 106586 from a gravel to asphalt surface road and construct a concrete culvert within Ntuzuma Township, North of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The total length of Street 106586 is 850m but the upgrade will be 500m inclusive of the proposed concrete culvert crossing the Umhlangane River. In addition, there is an existing bridge structure. Owing to the tributary and the current state of the road, vehicle and pedestrian usage is ineffective. Therefore, an asphalt surface and culvert are required to provide access for vehicles and pedestrians to travel along Street 106586.
