Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

The Kelland Willows Wetland is located east of 6 Mojali Rd, Randburg Gauteng. The GPS coordinates are as follows: 26°06'50.77"S, 27°57'44.03"E. The study area can be accessed from Beyers Naude, turning into Monkor Road, approximately 100m from Monkor Road turning into Charter Road, then going through the security access up to the dead end traffic circle.

Expanded_Motivation: 

The proposed project interventions entails construction of Two Type A and B weir sturctures on the Farilands and Darrenwood Spruit and installation of dual HDPE Buried pipelines: (Pipe class 9), 280mm buried dual HDPE Pipelines from the Type A weir on Fairlands spruit gravitationally draining to the protected outlet in a northward direction to the wetland area, 280mm buried dual HDPE pipelines from the Type A weir on Fairlands spruit gravitationally draining to the protected outlet in an eastward direction to the wetland area, 280mm buried dual HDPE pipelines from the Type A weir on the Darrenwood spruit gravitationally draining to the protected outlet in a northward direction to the wetland area.
