ProposalDescription:

Mining of an open pit through open cast mining methods. An excavator, dump trucks and Front-end Loader would be used. Material would be processed through a rotary pan.

Expanded_Motivation:

The mining area has been mined before and was known as the Karmel Project in the Free State. Current pit depth is estimated at 55m. No topsoil would be removed for this project. The depth of the pit suggest that if any heritage sources that was found, should have been reported to a competent authority. Alternatively, the sources was destroyed. No specialist studies are therefor undertaken for those reasons
