Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

This project is an Eskom Greenfield Electrification Project. Madibogo Gareleng, Motsetlane & Tlaping sections falls under Stela & Delareyville CNC and the Ngaka Modiri Molema Municipality. It is part of the 2023/2024 Electrification Plan. The development consists of 74 stands, of which 10 are infills. The houses are of brick and Tin types. There are no services installed with electricity to be supplied by Eskom.

Expanded_Motivation: 

Build new Overhead MV & LV infrastructure and supply 74 stands with service connections by installing the following: • 112x 7mx120-139mm;44x 11mx160-179mm;9x 12mx160-179mm; 31x 9mx160-179mm; • 1 x 11x180-199mm; 52 x 5mx80-100mm wood poles. • 45 x 2-way, 4 x 4-way P/T boxes. • 5535m Fox ACSR conductor • 2153mx 35mm² 3ph ABC, 846m 35mm² 2ph & 2302m 35mm² 1ph ABC conductor. • 2 x 16kVA, 1 x 32kVA & 1 x 50kVA transformers. • 4 x Data Concentrator. • 74 x smart meters (PLC) & 74 x ready-boards. • 2720m x 6mm² Tinned CU concentric cable. • 2x63A 1ph, 2x63A 2ph LV Fuses and 4x80A 1ph MCB; 2x63A 3ph LV Fuses and 1x80A 3ph MCB • Relocate 496m MV line that crosses through the yards. Dismantle 496MV line and 4 MV poles.
